The Edit: 7 Brands Customizing Paper Products

This week's edit is stationery, artwork, and everything in between. Some of my favorite custom finds lately have been on paper. Here are 7 brands doing it beautifully.

The Edit: 7 Brands Customizing Paper Products

The Edit is a weekly round-up of who’s doing personalization right. From brands weaving customization into their story, to the monogram that stopped us mid-scroll, a maker worth watching, and a detail so good we couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Each week, I share what’s caught my eye — new brands treating customization as craft (not an upsell), pieces that prove “made for you” beats “made for everyone,” and the timeless finds that never feel dated. A curated weekly dose of the taste, texture, and detail that makes something feel truly yours.

1. Personalized Envelope, Embroidered Lace — Gohar

Gohar was started by sisters Laila and Nadia Gohar, who bring their Egyptian roots and a taste for ritual into everything they make — tableware and objects that feel a little surreal, a little indulgent, and completely their own. That sensibility is all over this piece — a hand-embroidered heart on the envelope flap that turns something as ordinary as mail into a moment. Check out the entire hand embroidered collection, here. This tablecloth is guaranteed to start a conversation at your next dinner party.

2. Hand Embroidered Artwork — Papir by Hannah

Some of the most gorgeous hand-embroidered pieces I've seen, made for the occasions that matter most — weddings, anniversaries, births. Hannah works out of Liverpool, hand-stitching every piece herself, from vow books to linens stitched with a couple's own story.

3. On the Dot: Stationery for Kids — Cheree Berry Paper & Design

This kids' stationery is a different kind of customization — a black-and-white photo the customer uploads, paired with playful, rainbow type spelling out a name. It's completely adorable, kid-chic, and one of a kind!

Cheree Berry also just launched a collaboration with Lee Jofa — matchboxes, cocktail napkins, chargers, and stationery sets all built around Lee Jofa's fabric patterns. This Matchbox Medley would look so pretty in a decorative bowl, regardless of how often the matches get used!

4. The Hope Note — Ellis Hill

Based in Dallas, Ellis Hill offers the best-of-the-best when it comes to personalization — custom stationery, monogrammed table linens, party swag, personalized gifts, all under one roof. They carry everything from simple to ornate — a full range of bespoke tabletop linens, plus a standout lineup of personalization brands, all in one place.

5. Picnic Chair Hardcover Lined Notebook — Glassette x Papier

Papier's founder, Taymoor Atighetchi, grew up near London's Portobello Road, where his family has sold antiques for generations — his last name literally translates to "antiques dealer" in Persian. He took that eye for craft and turned it into one of the UK's fastest-growing stationery brands. And if you aren’t familiar with Glassette, you should be! It’s amazing. Glassette’s founder, Laura Jackson, has the best, creative and eclectics style. Glassette (and her personal instagram) are a treasure trove of brand discovery and unique finds.

6. Birth Announcements — Dogwood Hill

Dogwood Hill works with a collective of over 30 artists across the country (and as far as South Africa) who hand-paint the artwork behind every card. They've done collections with designers like Bria Hammel, artist Sally King McBride, and even Colonial Williamsburg, pulling patterns from 18th-century textiles and engravings. I bought my kids birth announcements from Dogwood Hill and loved every bit of them.

7. Custom Notepad Set — Dear Annabelle

Dear Annabelle goes well beyond notepads — personalized notecards, place cards, wrapping paper, even cocktail napkins, all in the same bright, engraved-and-printed style. Everything is printed on FSC-certified paper, and each order supports tree planting through their partnership with One Tree Planted. A small, thoughtful detail on top of already lovely custom pieces.
